I think, the problem is those .tpf files changed to notepad files, and Texmod just can't load em. it works fine with the environment (bat signal, billboards etc.) I've done the d3d11=false thing, turned off my Antivirus - I don't know what the heck is going on here. So after updating to windows 10 all my xcom mods seem to work except texmod (game just wont start when i press run) now its not that big a deal as i can live without it but it makes my game look soo much nicer than it did, any ideas what might be causing it to not work? I'm actually having a similar problem at the moment, though it isn't limited just to texmod.

But sadly, in Windows 8.1, there is no option to change those files back to normal, it will be notepad files forever. Also, i've heard that Texmod doesn't support DX 11, and my pc runs DX 11. The games crash when I attempt to boot using Easy TexMod, as well as with regular TexMod manually, but have no issues when booting without the program.
